There are a lot of "firsts" in this episode! First episode with Taylor in his new recording set up. First time guest cohost Peter Schmidt has been on the show and first time for Catholic comics creator Andy Shaggy Korty!

Taylor introduces Peter and they talk about the online Catholic young adult community he's been able to create through Game of Favorites (on Twitch.tv/ptony). Taylor also has a confession to make about last week's show that made him feel VERY dumb.

Andy Shaggy Korty is our guest this week and he shares about his new idea "Nov Arts Ordo." Andy is an incredible comics creator who's plan is to invite other creators to make something each day in November that is connected to the saints. Connect with Andy on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter @andyshaggykorty.

Peter closes out the show with a topic he wanted to focus on: poverty. They discuss how whether we are rich, poor or anywhere in between, we can all still struggle with our connection to money.

Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 187

Taylor and Beardless Blevins discuss the two holidays of the week, why some people refuse to enjoy their Catholicism, how the road to Emmaus is a perfect story for us in quarantine and Pete Burak shares about success in young adult ministry.

Beardless(yes it's gone) Blevins cohosts as Taylor shares about the two amazing holidays this week: May the 4th and Cinco de Mayo. He gets Jon's input on the Litany of Star Wars he shared and how some people just refuse to have any fun within Catholicism. They also discuss Our Lady of Guadalupe and a terrible prayer someone wrote in her honor.

Our guest this week is Pete Burak, the founder of ID ministries that is one of the few people we've found having success in young adult ministry.

In the final segment, the guys discuss the Road to Emmaus story and how it connects to our current situation.

Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 132

Easter is here! Allison Sullivan co-hosts as we continue in Easter joy by talking about the season, how our Lent went and have a hilarious guest in Dominican Priest & Chaplain at the University of Virginia, Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress.

Happy Easters!!!! We hope you enjoyed your Easter day and are continuing to enjoy the celebration of this great season!

This week, Allison Sullivan cohosts as we discuss how our Lent's went, Easter joy and Taylor being the balance in the Force.

Our guest this week is Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress, a Dominican priest who is the chaplain at the University of Virginia. We talk about how he and Taylor met(including a dino suit, a car wreck and a bar). We also talk about what young adults need most to grow in holiness and feel a part of the Church.

The show wraps up with a conversation on Allison's upcoming live recording of her podcast on the topic of race. We start the discussion on this touchy topic and why we should have these often difficult conversations.

BONUS: The commercials on this episode are all brand new and are honestly Taylor's pride and joy :)

Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 44

We cover a wide variety of topics this week including bible study, the RCIA process and Young Adult Ministry in the wake of a gathering with the Bishops of the area to explore how to better serve the young Church.

In today's first segment, I explain some crazy things that happened right before the show and share some of the key points from a cool devotional I just finished on the Youversion Bible App.

In the second segment, I interview Toni Hendricks about the RCIA. This is the process of becoming Catholic so whether you are a Catholic and want to learn more about this treasure of the Church and how you can help or if you aren't Catholic and have questions about the faith and want to know more about the Church, this is the interview for you.

In the final segment, I am joined by Christopher Dowling to talk about the Young Adult Listening Session he and I both attended with both of Austin's Bishops. This was a tremendous opportunity the Bishops held to know how to best serve the young Church.
