Bad Evangelization & Lost at Sea w/ Fr. Anthony Sciarappa | Forte Catholic Podcast Ep 389
Live from Pittsburgh! Taylor suggests seven Catholic things and asks Father Anthony whether they are more helpful for evangelization or more of a hinderance. Also, Taylor has a new scenario where we explore the grey area of Catholic morality: being stranded at sea.
Live from Pittsburgh!
Taylor visits Fr. Anthony and they record from the rectory. Taylor suggests seven Catholic things and asks Father whether they are more helpful for evangelization or more of a hinderance. They agree on a few, disagree on other but have good conversations about all.
Then, in honor of last year's discussion on the morality of the zombie apocalypse, this year Taylor has a new scenario where we explore the grey area of Catholic morality: being stranded at sea. This is inspired by a true story of men stranded at sea after killer whales attacked their boat and the incredible yet horrifying story of their survival.

Thanksgiving & Mind Ya Business w/ Kathryn Whitaker | Forte Catholic Podcast Ep 364
Happy Thanksgiving! Taylor was reminded that it is hard to be negative and thankful at the same time so recalling what we are grateful for is a great remedy. He & Kathryn share what they are thankful for & also keep the Thanksgiving spirit alive but talking about minding your own business, especially when you don't have all the facts.
Happy Thanksgiving from our crew to yours! We hope this episode gives you some laughs while you're avoiding your in-laws ;)
There has been some negativity floating around the past few weeks so we decided to combat it with some thanksgiving! Of course it was perfect timing with the holiday this week, but Taylor was also reminded that it is hard to be negative and thankful at the same time so recalling what we are grateful for is a great remedy. He & Kathryn share the things in their personal lives, families, church, work and more that they are most thankful for this year.
In keeping with the theme of Thanksgiving, we had to talk about arguing and people not minding their own business ;) Kathryn shares a ridiculous comment she received that definitely crossed the line. She shares the story & what bothered her about it. She & Taylor talk about how we should all mind our own business a little more, especially when we don't have all the facts. Like mama always said, if you aint got nuthin nice to say then don't say nuthin!
We hope y'all all have a beautiful Thanksgiving! We are so grateful you listen to our show. :) Blessings on you and yours this week!

Jesus on Social Media & Body Positivity w/Allison Sullivan | Forte Catholic Podcast Ep 262
A big announcement, a discussion on how Jesus would utilize social media & analyzing the body positivity movement.
Allison Sullivan cohosts and announces the relaunch of her podcast! Sinner Saint Sister is back and better than ever with great guests, now on video and part of the Forte Catholic Podcast Network.
She & Taylor discuss how Jesus would social media. Would He be on it? What would He say? How would he conduct himself? Insightful conversation with moments of hilarity.
They close the show by discussing the body positivity movement that has become popular over the past couple years with Lizzo at the center of it all. They discuss the good parts of that movement but also where it falls short. This is ultimately a discussion on how we as Catholics should approach times where we are overweight.

Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 98
This week we find some levity and light in the darkness in the midst of a tough few weeks. We find laughter throughout the show while still addressing the importance of finding hope with the help of some new ideas and a rap song from Taylor’s High School days. Shaun McAfee rejoins the show to talk about his new book “Social Media Magisterium.”
We kick this week's show off trying to find some levity in the midst of troubling times. Taylor shares some recent realizations(and prank ideas) he's had recently & producer Sam gives him a new challenge.
In the second segment, Shaun McAfee rejoins the show to talk about his new book, "Social Media Magisterium" on the proper use of media in our time. It helps that since his first appearance on episode 76, Shaun and Taylor have spent countless hours playing video games & becoming great friends. Tune in for this laughfest with nuggets of truth bombs throughout from señor McA4!
In the final segment, Taylor shares how one of his favorite rap songs from High School has ironically been helping him through the tough last few weeks.
Tune in, subscribe, share with your friends & leave a review for time off of Purgatory!
Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 34
I am joined by Tommy Tighe, the Catholic Hipster, for an interview on how we can use social media to build the Kingdom. I also share insights from my recent yearly retreat.
The highlight of this episode was our interview in the second segment with Tommy Tighe, the Catholic Hipster. Tommy is a master at using social media and the interwebs(that's what hipsters call it, right?) to build community and share his authentic love for the Catholic Faith. He has multiple projects including podcasts(The Catholic Hipster & The Chimney), blogs, a book coming soon and a tremendous presence on Twitter. He is an interesting dude and has a lot of wisdom to share with us on how we can use social media to build the Kingdom.
In the first and third segments, I share some insights into two Scripture stories that connected for me in a big way at my yearly retreat. We will dive in to the story of Lazarus being brought back to life and the Anointing at Bethany story through a new lens.
As always, please like/rate/share the show. You rock!
