Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 209
We tried to kick off the show with a beautiful conversation about loving our neighbor but Jon wanted to talk about straws for a while. Taylor talks about Jon's mom(and isn't offensive...wow) and how we can't love a God we can't see if we don't love the people we can. The guys have a conversation about objective and subjective truth in Catholicism and how people often get them confused in both directions. Finally, Taylor shares how big of a failure his is with the help of the trusty dog Airbud.

Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 201
Bearded Blevins and Taylor discuss a few things getting back to normal like sports, restaurants and (some) schools. Jon gets to judge three new metaphors about confession that Taylor came up with & the guys share stories of intense emotion ranging from embarrassment to rage to fear.
Jon "Bearded" Blevins cohosts what he dubbed the "hangover" episode after Ep 200's celebrations. We discuss some things like sports, dining out and schools opening back up and getting just a taste of "normalcy".
In the second segment, Jon gets to judge three new metaphors about confession that Taylor came up with. They range from terrible to maybe great?? You decide!
Finally, the guys share stories of intense emotion ranging from embarrassment to rage to fear. We had a good few laughs and might have even attempted to make a point. Enjoy!

Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 185
Fr. Anthony and Taylor talk video games and an update on Taylor’s spiritual and physical health(including an impromptu live weighing). Taylor kinda goes off the rails at some point and it’s fun to hear Fr. Anthony try to reign him in. Comedian Aaron Weber rejoins the show to bring us some deep, hearty laughter :)
Fr. Anthony & Taylor have been playing many a video game during the quarantine and Taylor tries to justify it by making it sound spiritual and finding in the games positive and negative parallels to his spiritual life. He also weighs himself live on the show(unplanned) to see how he's doing physically during the lockdown.(It's wild!)
Comedian Aaron Weber stops by the show again. The point of bringing him on was to bring joy and levity during a time we all need it, but instead Fr. Anthony yells at people and tries to teach Aaron things. Poor Fr. Anthony. But Aaron still brings deep, hearty laughter. :)
In the final segment, Taylor kinda goes off the rails and Father tries desperately to keep him and the show on track.

Jon Blevins co-hosts on his one year anniversary of first appearing on the show! Taylor shares why he's been crying while listening to podcasts in the woods and wonders if he's progressing or digressing as a human.
In the second segment, we're joined by Brian Montfort of the Work To Game YouTube channel. With two of the biggest names in Catholic gaming, the guys chat about some of the pitfalls of gaming, how to avoid them and ultimately while they still play. Taylor tries to make strange comparisons between video games and the Church. Does it work? That's up to you to decide.
In the final segment(recorded three hours later), Taylor shares that his deepest recent spiritual insight is that Jesus is a millennial which leads "seamlessly" into a conversation of a conference Jon went to recently about how to engage youth culture. This leads to a more broad conversation about how we live our lives between action and inaction.
