Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 103
Two year anniversary of Forte Catholic going on the air for the first time! Chris Mueller of “EverydayCatholic.com” joins the show to talk about leading from the pews. We also have convos about Producer Sam’s upcoming trip to the Holy Land, Beyoncé’s “Halo”, conversation with Twitter bots & #InternationalPodcastDay.
Celebrating two years of Taylor talking too much! This episode marks the two year mark from the first Forte Catholic episode airing on RED-C Radio. We start off with a mini-celebration, update on Producer Sam and talk about her upcoming trip to the Holy Land.
In the second segment, Chris Mueller of Everyday Catholic joins the show. He's essentially the successful & better looking version of Taylor. We talk about what speaks to a regular Catholic and how to lead from the pews.
In the final segment, we talk about how Beyoncé's "Halo" & Taylor's recent lunch choice apply to a few of this week's feast days. We also talk about #InternationalPodcastDay, give away a prize & Taylor's conversation with a Catholic Twitter bot.

Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 56
We cover it ALL this week as we talk twitter, viral videos, doubting Thomas, the Ultimate Catholic Comic Book, weird prayers, ministry and Star Wars. All in under an hour!
Sooo much to get to on this week's show! We kick off the night with some crazy stories from twitter, including my boss going viral last weekend and the update to 280 characters and how people are going crazy. We also continue our topic of Jesus visiting his disciples after the Resurrection with the "Doubting Thomas" story.
In the second segment, I am joined by Matt Martinusen, producer of "The Ultimate Catholic Comic Book." I have read the whole thing and absolutely love it! I had a blast talking to Matt about how the project came to be, dealing with risk, and using new mediums to share the faith.
To finish off the show, we do a "Forte Five" countdown on the five weirdest things people do or say in prayer. And then I share about a 2.5 hour conversation I had with a high school student on retreat this weekend and how Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader played a big role in that conversation.
Forte Catholic Podcast Episode 34
I am joined by Tommy Tighe, the Catholic Hipster, for an interview on how we can use social media to build the Kingdom. I also share insights from my recent yearly retreat.
The highlight of this episode was our interview in the second segment with Tommy Tighe, the Catholic Hipster. Tommy is a master at using social media and the interwebs(that's what hipsters call it, right?) to build community and share his authentic love for the Catholic Faith. He has multiple projects including podcasts(The Catholic Hipster & The Chimney), blogs, a book coming soon and a tremendous presence on Twitter. He is an interesting dude and has a lot of wisdom to share with us on how we can use social media to build the Kingdom.
In the first and third segments, I share some insights into two Scripture stories that connected for me in a big way at my yearly retreat. We will dive in to the story of Lazarus being brought back to life and the Anointing at Bethany story through a new lens.
As always, please like/rate/share the show. You rock!
