Catholic Foundations | The Sacraments | Session 4

In week four of our Foundations course, Jennifer Stavinoha gives us an introduction to the Sacraments and a deeper look into Baptism and Confession. How we live in the power of our Baptism and breaking through the barriers that keep us from the grace available in the confessional.

In week four of our Foundations course, Jennifer Stavinoha gives us an introduction to the Sacraments and a deeper look into Baptism and Confession. How do we live out our Baptism today as adults? She looks to a couple of stories from the Gospels for our answers.

She also shares about the importance of frequent confession for Catholics. So many Catholics do not frequent the Sacrament for a plethora of reasons: intellectual questions about why we have to go to a priest, fear, embarrassment and more. She shares not only the importance of the Sacrament but also helps to break down the barriers that keep up from the grace awaiting us in the confessional.

We will be back next week for our session on Salvation History.
