This is part of our 8-part series on Apologetics. My pastor asked me to teach this course for our parish this Fall, so every week for two months, I'll be gathering with the community in our Church to teach on some of the most important Apologetics topics.

Keynote Session from Revive 2017
I shared this "Ablaze" message at Revive 2017 about keeping the flame of faith burning. We do so by looking at what fire needs to stay burning and the equivalencies in the spiritual life.
I shared this "Ablaze" message at the Revive Youth Rally in Bryan, TX this Fall! It was a fun outdoor event in downtown Bryan(hence the train interrupting me at the beginning lol).
After playing the "Hunger Games or Scripture" trivia game, I talked about the image of fire throughout salvation history and it's implications for keeping our fire of faith aflame. I also talked about what fire needs to sustain and the equivalencies for that in our spiritual life.
Life After the "Conference High"
One does not simply bring a young person to a youth conference and not help them continue to grow in their faith when they return home. Watch this short video on how to help youth continue to live for Christ after the "conference high" wears off.
On my most recent appearance on the Beyond the Pew video series from Ablaze Ministries, I talk about how to help kids continue to "fan the flame of faith" after attending a youth conference. Conferences have a special place in my heart as I had my conversion at a youth conference the summer after my 8th grade year. Many young people struggle to continuing growing in their faith in the weeks and months following an encounter with Christ at a conference.
In this video, I give some tips and guidance on how parents can assist their kids in cultivating a deep faith after the "conference high" goes away.
